The client will therefore be liable to pay the minimum charge to cover wage loss for all workers who are committed to that days work and subsequent lost days.

At no point will a person in the employment of J and M undertake a different trade or labour work as a substitute in these circumstances.

Should a situation arise as described as above, that means we shall be on hold for more than one day we request that the client tell us so ,and we will leave site with all tools and materials, wait for up to 1 week then in writing will inform the customer that we can no longer continue and submit an invoice based on works done so far based on full tradesmen?s wages, also a restocking charge may apply.

For a skilled worker £130. per 8 hour working day

For a semi skilled worker £90 per 8 hour working day

For an unskilled worker £70 per 8 hour working day

Invoices unpaid by said indicated time would incur a 10% interest charge calculated daily above the base rate of interes

Estimates are free up to the proposed labour charge involved to the sum of £1500 thereafter a charge of £40.00 will be made for every £2000 labour charge involved.

It is the client?s responsibility to remove all personal effects from all areas where works are to be undertaken, help with moving larger items will be given, but at no point will we be held liable for any damages that may or could occur.

J and M will rectify any damages made due to negligence or mishaps (e.g. Damage due to water leaks) although we are covered by insurers, we believe to go through that lengthy process is an inconvenience to clients.

On being approached for future works J and M are happy to make a primary booking and hold this for up to two weeks before the proposed works are to be under-taken. At which point if a contract or verbal agreement has not been reached we will either cancel the primary booking or discontinue negotiations with no charges being made unless the sums of the labour charges proposed is over £1500 or above.( see paragraph above)
